    Hui Hao I think that your pitch was really good, you highlighted on how your passion for engineering started at an early age, you also stated your strength which would be in favour for a lot of employers, other than that you also stated your weakness which I feel that the employers will appreciate it. I think you were nervous during the video recording which resulted in you stuttering in some parts of of the recording but overall good job on the video pitch

Interpretation of Quotation

“Communication skills are an essential component in the education of engineering students to facilitate not just students’ education but also to prepare them for their future careers.”  Being able to communicate your ideas well is an essential skill to have that you can foster as early as your schooling days, I’m a firm believer of practice makes perfect, especially when building lifelong skills that goes a long way. Being able to project and communicate your ideas is an integral part in any career field, and having good communication skills will definitely be an asset that both students and employer will appreciate.

Critical Reflection

Module learning: When I first entered this module, I thought that it would just be like any other communication class, similar to those that I have taken back in my polytechnic days. I knew my presentation skills were not perfect but I thought I only needed minor improvements, and as for my writing skills, I was confident that I am above average. However, through the weeks in this module, I have discovered that my thinking was no more than shallow and was wrong in my self-assessment. Throughout the trimester, I have been exposed to numerous writing skills, ranging from formal introduction email to formal research report. The tasks given were by no means an easy task and I often work on it for a long time as there were plenty of research to be done.
